While we are preparing our documents and application with the IRS requesting official recognition as a federally tax-exempt public benefit organization, we are legally functioning as a nonprofit corporation under section 501 (c) (3) of the federal internal revenue code and the State of Nevada. Upon approval, all donations are tax deductible, retroactive to the date of incorporation effective 19 July 2007. Official gift acknowledgments will be mailed upon approval. Hookers for Jesus suggests that all donors consult with their attorney regarding all charitable contributions and questions pertaining to their own tax liability. Upon approval of tax exempt status, we will begin a Capital Campaign, as well as a Home Missions Campaign. However, we continue to need funds to ensure solvency during the startup and development of the ministry. We welcome you to partner with us in assisting others during their transition out of the sex industry. All gifts of money, equipment and services are tax deductible.
