GREAT GREAT NEWS! THREE, I said THREE ladies with children are staying with us at our new house for x-prostitutes, The Destiny Center.
We have an IMMEDIATE EMERGENCY need for one of our girls, Leslie. Her grandmother, who was her mom when her REAL mom died when she was 10 yrs old, is in Michigan and is currently dying and in hospice care. She and her little daughter, Jennie, need to fly to Michigan to say goodbye and go to the funeral. Please help her if your heart is drawn to!

"The slavery abolishment in the US in 1865 may have freed millions of slaves, but the tragedy is, it did not free the slaves from judgement against the black race. And it has painstakingly taken years upon years for the US to recover from it.
We are fighting another type of war that is mostly behind closed doors. The war of modern day sex slavery is going on right in our own backyards! And the SAME type of judgement from the public is coming down upon each victim as they leave their old lifestyles.
But it doesn't have to be this way! If we are to truly free these children, women & men, we must not JUDGE where they have been. We need to LOVE them first, and not "label" them as prostitutes. The truth is, that most, if not ALL have been human sex trafficked! We must listen to them, learn from them, and allow their voices to speak the truth of the horrors they have all been through. Their voices and experiences will not only set others free in the same lifestyle, but it will also set free those that would judge a former sex worker and her past choices.
No, it will not take one person to do this, but whole communities. We must be able give them second chances to reintegrate into society for a true and full recovery to take place.

Before we get started, I want to ask you to please read my story.
I have FIRST HAND experience as a SEX SLAVE. I was a prostitute/stripper/escort for WELL over 11 yrs and know about human sex trafficking from my OWN personal experiences with pimps and underage girls in the sex industry. I am a human sex trafficking survivor! My story will explain a bit of my background, leading to my desire to start Hookers for Jesus. Get your box of tissues because you are going to need them!
For girls/teens/women who are trying to ESCAPE/OR HAVE ESCAPED the sex industry & human sex trafficking:
God loves EVERYONE! And NO ONE should be excluded, least of all, sex workers! And if you are a current or former sex worker, I would like to invite you into an relationship with Jesus. Come to church, and let God show you that He loves you, unconditionally!!! You don't have to change anything before meeting God. He loves you...JUST THE WAY YOU ARE!!! Please... don't be afraid!
Did you know that Jesus HUNG OUT with PROSTITUTES??? Yes. PROSTITUTES! AND....He never JUDGED them!
NO one who is a TRUE believer of Jesus is going to judge you when you decide to take that step of faith. How do I know this? Because when I finally decided that FEAR (fear of judgment, rejection, embarrassment) wasn't going to run my life anymore... I discovered that moving forward was the BEST decision that I ever made! I finally put my fear aside, came to church, and found out how many people were willing to accept me for WHO I was and not what I had done!
I found real friends, real relationships to thrive on, and finally... real LOVE.
LOVE can move MOUNTAINS and change lives that would be otherwise destroyed! If we want something to change for the better, we cannot just dream about it. We must ACT upon it! LOVE IS ACTION!!! It only took One person's love and commitment over two thousand years ago to change the world! That's right my friends!!! Jesus CHANGED THE ENTIRE WORLD by His unselfish sacrifice and death the cross, and He did it JUST for us. This is REAL LOVE! What would our nation be like if we really ACTED on the God-given dreams for our country and our people? If there is power in ONE, just imagine what a difference it would make if people came together with ONE vision!
If we truly love, we must truly act... this in turn will start a true REVOLUTION for real change! And in turn, CHANGE THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT! Let's make a change in our HEARTS and choose LOVE!
