Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to be a princess? To be treated like royalty??? Well... We have been blessed us with a home for women in the Las Vegas area! This is a very nice home, provided through the generosity of Pastors Benny and Wendy Perez of The Church at South Las Vegas www.thechurchlv.com. With this home, we have the opportunity to offer women and teens seeking refuge from dangerous situations with a place for healing, comfort, and rest. We have been working with the Family Court system throughout this past year, and will now be able to offer hope for these girls in a much more tangible way. Pastors Benny and Wendy are committed to reaching out to the young girls and women with the love of Christ. In this effort, this home has been set up with the surroundings appropriate for a princess. They have said that they want these women to feel like royalty! To that end, we have been blessed with new appliances and brand furniture. Yes, this place is also fully furnished! So, in all, we have a new safe house for women. This home will also be fully secured through controlled access, surveillance, and guards. We are truly blessed. Services that we will continue to provide include case management, skills assessment, job development, and individual internships for women with a social work background. We will also offer computer training and development of administrative skills transferable to the job market. Additional services provided will include group counseling, discipleship, Bible studies, and financial management training courses. We will be working closely with Pastor Wendy Perez in the development and day-to-day operations of the home. Her involvement will include mentorship and weekly Bible studies with the women.
